The surfing instructor who died at Port Macquarie’s Lighthouse Beach on Friday has been described as a unique and fun character by colleagues.
Police are still investigating how 30-year-old Ruairi Flanagan drowned, saying they believe it was a tragic accident.
A memorial will be held on Friday afternoon.
