With minor to moderate flood warnings still in place for the Macleay, Hastings and Manning Rivers, authorities are reminding people to avoid floodwaters at all costs.
A man had a lucky escape in Kendall yesterday, after his car was washed off a bridge and into Cutty Creek.
The local managed to climb onto the roof of his car, before an off-duty police officer came to his assistance.
