CRUSADERS SHOT DOWN BY THE COMETS

A tough loss for the Central Coast Crusaders, going down to the Sydney Comets at home last night.

The home side came out firing, determined to jump the Comets and move into third spot, easily taking an 8 point lead at the first break.

But a big third term saw the visitors fight back, in the end winning by 21 points.

Star shooter Cal Jenkins top scored with 21 points, and was the only one to crack double figures for the Coast.
