A new taxi rank will be available in Tamworth within three weeks, following a council decision last night.
It follows recommendations made by the Tamworth Regional Local Traffic Committee after the regional playground was vandalised a number of times since opening last year.
The rank will be located at an existing loading zone on Kable Avenue, out the front of the Hopscotch Cafe.
It will run for 12 hours each day from 6pm.
