A Port Macquarie brewery has won a prestigious award at the Sydney Royal Beer and Cider Show.
Black Duck Brewery won a gold medal for its Phoenix Migration Stout.
It was one of only seven gold medals awarded.
“It’s a beer we’ve had for 18 months and it’s been pretty popular so to get a gold at the Sydney show is certainly exciting for us.”
The beer is described as having rich chocolate, coffee and aniseed flavours.
