Police are appealing for information, after a man was stabbed at Lake Macquarie.
Emergency services were called to a home on Oxford Street at Gateshead at around 1:30 yesterday afternoon.
A 25-year-old man had several cuts on his arms and legs, as well as a severed finger.
He was treated by paramedics before being taken to John Hunter Hospital.
