COUNCIL FINES PROPERTY OWNER FOR ‘BUSH DOOF’ PARTY

The owner of a property near Grafton, where a young man died at a rave party, has been fined $3,000 for the unauthorised event.

24 year-old David Gallagher died from a suspected drug overdose, unknown to revellers at the ‘bush doof’ on the weekend.

Clarence Valley Council, who handed down the maximum fine, says it will go after any owner who holds events of that nature, without approval.
