A 31-year-old man will face Newcastle Court today, after bizarrely driving a white Mitsubishi down the M1 with only three tyres.
Police stopped the man near Morisset at about 10pm on Sunday, after seeing the car travelling with a flat tyre.
It’s alleged the accused tried to flee the scene on foot before he was arrested a short time later.
It’s also alleged the driver failed a roadside breath test.
The man was later charged with a number of offences, including driving dangerously, driving whilst disqualified and resisting arrest.
