Fire has badly damaged a home in Newcastle this morning.
The blaze broke out at Tighe Street home in Waratah shortly before 7 o’clock.
It took 16 fire fighters around an hour to extinguish.
It’s not yet known how the fire started, but it’s not being treated as suspicious.
