Wauchope residents have called a meeting for tomorrow night, to address growing concerns about an increase in crime and antisocial behaviour.
A petition calling for a round-the-clock police presence in the town has attracted more than 1,000 signatures.
“If they can’t you know get the police station up and running 24/7, I’m hoping they can do something about the crime you know,” resident Emma Jenkins said.
The forum will be held at Wauchope Country Club from 5.30pm.
