Fire has destroyed a home in the Hunter Valley, taking hold of the Cessnock property at nine o’clock on Saturday morning.
Fire crews arrived at the Francis Street property to find smoke billowing from the roof and flames escaping from the front of the building.
No one was injured in the blaze – early investigations suggest it was sparked by an electrical fault.
