Police have seized a sawn-off shotgun, ammunition and drugs during a search at a house in Lake Macquarie.
It’s alleged a 25-year-old man was storing the prohibited items in a roof cavity of a house on Station Street at Bonnells Bay.
A search of the property also allegedly found a small amount of cannabis.
The accused was also found to have an outstanding warrant, he was charged with a range of offences including possessing a firearm, ammunition and a prohibited drug.
He was refused bail to face Toronto Local Court today.
