COPACABANA FREE DIVER SETS NEW AUSSIE RECORD

Central Coast free diver Adam Stern has finished sixth at this year’s vertical blue titles in the Bahamas.

It was a bittersweet result for Stern, who competed in only 3 of the 11 days of competition, after falling ill.

However, the 27 year old  managed to achieve his main goal of free diving 100 metres, making him one of the deepest divers in the world.

The Copacabana local also set a new Australian record in the free immersion discipline.
