The Gold Coast has beaten the Sunshine Coast in the World Surfaris ‘Coast of Origin’ series by 20 points at Burleigh Heads today.
The contest pitted some of the two regions best surfers against each other, including Snapper’s Quinn Bruce, who this year had to change his allegence.
“I’m from the Sunshine Coast but I’ve lived on the Gold Coast the past year Gold Coast have got better waves.”
Snapper Rocks was named best club.
