Hunter basketballers Suzy Batkovic and Katie-Rae Ebzery are a step closer to representing Australia at the Rio Olympics, after being selected in the Opals squad for a three-game warm-up tour of Japan.
The pair impressed at last week’s camp on the Central Coast, which culminated in an intra-team scrimmage on Friday night.
