A 62-year-old man has died after being hit by an SUV on the Pacific Highway in Coffs Harbour overnight.
Emergency services attended the scene shortly after 6pm, after the man was hit by a Mitsubishi Outlander.
He was taken to hospital but later died from his injuries.
The 43-year-old female driver and her passengers were unharmed.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
