The Newcastle Jets have announced 6 players will be leaving the club ahead of the next season including Enver Alivodic, Leonardo and Ryan Kitto.
Meanwhile Jets’ Goalkeeper, Mark Birighitti, has cleaned up at the club’s annual awards ceremony overnight.
Birighitti’s heroics in goal throughout the season saw him named not only the club’s player of the year but also the member’s player of the year and the Ray Baartz Medal.
Megan Oyster was named women’s player of the year, while goal of the year was handed to Morten Nordstrand.
