Absolutely one sided and blatantly biased coverage by a reporter who receives free tickets from Splendour. “both sides” claim is a lie.
This festival site is in the wrong place and is a massive over development.
Mac. NBN and every other media outlet is given media passes to cover these events. These are not free tickets as you try to point out. This is standard across Australia for this type of event (see Homebake, Big Day Out etc). A media pass allows a cameraman and journalist to work at the event and show the results to the public, good bad or otherwise.
As for biased coverage, NBN News has and will continue to give balanced coverage to all stories.
