THE OPERA IN THE PADDOCK SHOW WILL GO ON
Rehearsals were underway in Armidale today for Opera in the Paddock.
For the first time, the event will be held over two nights.
Tomorrow, it’ll feature in Armidale while on Saturday, it will be Inverell’s turn to play host.
Baritone legend Teddy Tahu Rhodes is returning, following an intimate performance in the rain at last year’s event, among a number of other performers.
“Bradley Daley who’s a wonderful tenor, Elizabeth Lewis a lovely soprano, myself and an orchestra of 22 and Tim Sexton who’s the conductor.”
Organisers are expecting about 1,000 people to attend.
