WEATHER: A VERY DRY MONTH ENDING ON A WET NOTE

March has been very dry but a slow moving trough is moving in across the region tonight and over the next 24 hours widespread rain, showers and storm cells will pass through.

Once it clears there isn’t much in behind it so April is likely to get under way with clear dry skies as well.
