SEARCH CONTINUES FOR MISSING BOOMERANG BEACH SWIMMER

The tourist missing in waters off Boomerang Beach, near Forster, has been identified as a popular rugby league player from Orange, in the state’s central west.

Terry Brown disappeared after jumping about 20 metres off a cliff to go for a swim, around 7 o’clock yesterday morning.

His friends raised the alarm, triggering a massive search operation involving Marine Rescue, police divers and surf lifesavers.

But despite a second day of searching, there’s been no sign of the 22 year old.
