Police are appealing for information after a woman was sexually assaulted at Inverell.
Just before 7am on Sunday, the 18-year-old was walking under Tingha bridge when she was pushed to the ground and attacked by two men.
They fled and were last seen running through Inverell Caravan Park.
The first man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 20-years-old, about 180cm tall, of chubby build, with shoulder-length red or blond hair.
The second man is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 20 to 25-years-old, about 170cm tall, of athletic build, with short black hair and a ‘chinstrap’ beard. He was seen wearing ‘Converse’ shoes.
