KENNEDY TO BATTLE MELLING IN RIPCURL PRO ROUND 1

Stu ‘giant killer’ Kennedy is set to face some familiar opposition when round 1 of the Ripcurl Pro gets underway at Bells Beach.

Following his recent run of wins at the Quiksilver Pro on the Gold Coast, he’ll take on fellow local hopeful Adam Melling, aswell as Julian Wilson, in his first heat.

Meanwhile, the region’s Tyler Wright will hit the water in the women’s.
