An elderly woman has died after her car veered off the road and hit a tree in Toormina this morning.
Police say witnesses noticed her car was swerving erratically along Sawtell Road just after 9:30 this morning, moments before the crash.
Other drivers went to her assistance but it’s believed she was killed on impact.
It’s thought she had been suffering from a medical condition.
