CHALLENGE PREPARES FOR FRIENDLY WITH TAMWORTH FC

For the second year Challenge Community Services’ football team will take on Tamworth FC’s premier league side in a friendly on Saturday.

The boys will have their work cut out for them during the adapted game, which will see clients with a disability take the field for a four quarter match.

“For some reason underestimated them last year and we got absolutely rolled so this year we’ve been behind closed doors training very hard.”

But the Challenge team says it has a secret weapon, which should help them secure the win for the second year in a row.

“We’ve re- written the rules slightly and we won’t tell them about those rule changes until the game starts.”
