Despite a heavy loss to Perth on Friday night, Hunter-bred basketballer Suzy Batkovic has helped Townsville to its second straight WNBL minor premiership.
The Fire will now host Perth on Sunday in the major semi.
“I think we had our rocky weekend and we didn’t play great. I’m confident everyone is going to come out firing.”
Townsville is looking to win back to back grand finals as well.
