Alstonville headed into day two of this weekend’s Far North Coast Cricket Competiton round this afternoon, with the slimmest of leads over opponent Ballina Bears.
The visitors were all out for 121 off 36 overs yesterday, during day 1 play at Fripp Oval.
Despite the small total, however, the home side wasn’t able to seal the deal – the Bears only managing 116.
