A 55-year-old cyclist remains in a stable condition in Tamworth Hospital, after he was stuck by a car on the New England Highway this morning.
Paramedics were called to the crash between Nemingha and Kootingal at around 7 o’clock this morning, following reports the man had been hit while riding on the road.
He was rushed to hospital with shoulder and spinal injuries.
The highway was closed for three hours, while police combed the scene.
