Two mid north coast rugby league players will line up in the New South Wales Country Seconds side to take on Queensland later this month.
Port City Breakers hooker Glen Littler and Wauchope Blues powerhouse prop Chris Trembath have been selected in the starting line up.
The Group-3 players are the north coast’s only representatives in the 17-man squad.
Their performance in the recent New South Wales country championships was enough to impress selectors, with both players pivotal in Group-3s effort to make it to the semis.
The New South Wales Country Seconds will come up against the maroons in the Outback Challenge, to be played at Uralla on the 23rd of this month.
