Proposed changes to federal electorates along the Far North Coast have been adopted by the Australian Electoral Commission today.
Richmond will gain almost 14,000 voters east of Alstonville, from Page.
While Page will pick up just over 23,000 voters from Cowper, thanks to its redrawn boundary.
Meanwhile Cowper adds 37,000 from the southern part of Kempsey, previously included in the electorate of Lyne.
Richmond and Cowper will also be renamed Bandler and Paterson respectively.
The changes come into effect on February 25th.
