A Forster man has been charged with six counts of possessing child abuse material.
Around 10am yesterday, police executed a search warrant on a home in Forster, where a number of computers and electronic devices were seized.
A 64-year-old man was arrested and taken to Forster Police Station, where he was later charged.
He was refused bail and is due to appear in Taree Local Court court today.
