A 32-year-old man has been charged with a string of drugs and firearm offences, following the alleged discovery of a sophisticated hydroponic cannabis set-up north west of Taree.
Officers searched the home at Elands on December 18 and allegedly seized 225 cannabis plants.
It’s also alleged they found an eight-year-old boy locked in a shed.
The man was arrested in Sydney yesterday and is the fifth person to be charged in relation to the incident.
