Homes, roads and businesses have been inundated across the Hunter, Central Coast and Mid North Coast, following flooding rain.
Drains at Wallsend became raging torrents, flooding parks and sporting fields.
While at Raymond Terrace, around 30 residents were evacuated this afternoon, after the Hunter River broke its banks, sending water rushing into homes.
The del-uge has kept the SES volunteers rushed off their feet, responding to around 1,000 calls for help.
