DOGS STOLEN FROM RSPCA POUND
Police are investigating the theft of two dogs from a Hunter Valley RSPCA pound.
The dogs are thought to have been involved in a terrifying series of attacks in New Lambton in October, and were impounded pending investigations by Newcastle City Council.
Three people were hospitalised, two with serious bite wounds, after the dogs escaped their owner’s yard and began roaming the neighbourhood.
It’s understood a fence was cut at the RSPCA’s Rutherford pound overnight.
