Police have confirmed a large model aircraft sparked a search by emergency services this morning, after witnesses reported seeing a plane come down at Bob’s Farm, near Port Stephens.
Crews scoured the area for a crash site but were recalled to station when further enquiries revealed the plane involved was a large remote control model aircraft.
