POLICE APPEAL FOR HELP LOCATING MISSING PERSON AFTER VEHICLE CRASH

Police are seeking help to find a missing man, after his vehicle was found crashed west of Port Macquarie yesterday.

About 2.30am on Boxing Day, a white Mitsubishi utility was found on its roof off the Oxley Highway, about 25-kilometres east of Mt Seaview.

The car was last seen being driven by 45-year-old John Shaw, who’d been to lunch with family in Taree earlier that day.

The vehicle was unoccupied when found, and there’s been no sign of Mr Shaw either at home or any local hospitals.

There are concerns for Mr Shaw’s well-being, and police are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.

Mr Shaw is described as being about 173cm tall, with a medium build and black hair.

At the time he was wearing a blue shirt, black shorts and while sneakers.
