SINGLETON EXPERIENCING A BUILDING BOOM

Singleton is in the midst of a housing boom.

Building projects ramped up last year, with more than 400 development applications lodged compared to 271 in 2019… most of them for homes.

The trend looks set to continue with 16 applications lodged in one week last month.

The Hunter as a whole is expected to keep growing – more than 100,000 extra people are predicted to call the region home by 2041.
