He may have hung up his running shoes, but Dave Alley’s fundraising effort continues.
The police officer today received $5,500 for the White Cloud Foundation, from Lord’s Taverners Northern New South Wales.
Dave recently completed the ‘Race Around Australia 2’, running almost 14,000-kilometres to raise funds and awareness about depression.
“Our goal was $100,000 and that continues through to the end of the year, so fingers crossed we can get some more money in the kitty and get close to that $100,000 target”
He’s the only person to have both run and cycled around the country.
