Hunter has triumphed over Sydney North on the final day of the Combined High Schools Waterpolo Carnival in Taree.
Despite missing two key players, Hunter managed to win nine goals to four.
Goalkeeper Bailey Sheather was able to thwart a number of attempts from their Sydney rivals – he was later named player of the match.
A state side will now be formed, with the best-performing players from the carnival facing selection.
