WEATHER: HEAT WAVE TO PEAK ON FRIDAY

The heat rolled in today and we are in for another hot one tomorrow. The coast will be a bit cooler as a weak southerly will reach the Hunter and MNC allowing for an afternoon seabreeze to develop which will hold back the heat. Inland will remain hot. On Friday the NW will kick in stronger pushing the hot desert air to the coast line, driving the mercury in to the high 30s and low 40s. Real relief will arrive on the weekend thanks to a stronger southerly.
