Farmers in the Northern Tablelands have received a boost, with the State Government committing $1.2 million to tackle weeds in the region.
The funding comes from the New South Wales Weeds Action program, and is intended to minimise losses in production time.
Money will go to Councils and Local Land Services to try and eradicate the wide-spread problem.
It comes as Government officials consider forming specific Regional Weeds Committees, to update research.
