The date’s been set for the official opening of the Tamworth Regional Playground, with the recreational space to be available from December 13.
It comes as a new piece of equipment, with an accessible carousel added to the $2-million facility.
Kable Avenue will be partially blocked off for the event, to ensure the safety of an expected large crowd.
It hasn’t been all positive news for the park though, with an 18 year old local to face court next month charged with trespassing and malicious damage to council property following an incident on November 1.
