DISASTER FUNDS FOR COFFS AND CLARENCE FARMERS
Primary producers from the Clarence Valley and Coffs Harbour are now eligible for natural disaster relief funding following September’s devastating hail storms.
North Coast Parliamentary Secretary Chris Gulaptis says the storm caused more than $11 million worth of damage to blueberry crops across the region with more than 15 properties affected.
He says loans of up to $130,000 at 1.3 percent interest are available with a two year interest and repayment free period.
Farmers are urged to apply for assistance to the New South Wales Rural Assistance Authority.
