MORE MONEY TO COMBAT PEST ANIMAL SPECIES
The New South Wales and federal governments are set to join forces in a bid to eradicate pest animal and weed species.
$3-million will be spent on containing wild dogs, feral animals and invasive weeds in drought-affected areas of the state.
Costing the agriculture sector up to $66-million a year, wild dog populations are expected to be a main priority.
Local Land Services will work with affected farmers to coordinate a number of management projects.
