Coffs Harbour City Council is hoping to make the Botanic Gardens one of the Mid North Coast’s best tourist attractions.
The site already hosts a number of large scale events including Saltwater Freshwater and the Japanese Lantern Festival, and it’s hoped more people will come and visit what council has dubbed the region’s ‘best kept secret’.
Council is in talks with the ‘friends of the Botanic Garden’ committee to look at more ways to maximise the garden’s potential.
