A community group will take over the running of the Bunker Cartoon Gallery, after Coffs Harbour Council agreed to its proposal.
From July Bunker Cartoon Gallery Inc will run the facility for two years.
Council will pay an operating subsidy of $86,000 for the first year, $80,000 in the second year, with a further option of a subsidy for the third year.
It’s estimated council will save around $31,000 in operating and support costs over three years.
