A 39-year-old man has died in a freak farm accident on a rural property, north-west of Taree.
The man was demolishing a concrete water tank on his property at Butchers Creek Road in Wherrol Flat at about 5pm yesterday when the roof collapsed and trapped him.
Family and neighbours commenced CPR until paramedics arrived, but he was unable to be revived and died at the scene.
