The Australian Ice Hockey League season is still two months away, but the Newcastle North Stars have already taken a major step towards regaining the championship title… signing goaltender Dayne Davis.
In 2017, Davis played for the Melbourne Ice, winning the Goodall Cup for a third consecutive year, after helping Newcastle take the title in 2015 and 16.
The North Stars begin their season at Warners Bay on April 28 against Canberra.
