Residents at Fullerton Cove and Tilligerry Creek will have a chance to get answers on a chemical spill near the Williamtown RAAF base, with the Defence Department announcing a community meeting.
News of the contamination broke two weeks ago, after traces of potentially dangerous firefighting chemicals were found in ground and surface water.
The meeting will be held at the Stockton RSL on September 16… in the meantime the community has been urged not to drink bore water, or eat eggs or fish from the area.
