Coffs Harbour City Council has given the Sawtell Surf Life Saving Club permission to redevelop its club house.
A development application for the $2 million project was approved unanimously at last night’s council meeting.
The club has plans for a new facade and roof, and an expanded dining area and function room.
The club says it will now apply for state and federal government funding, as well as conduct its own fund raising activities.
